Holiday Traditions

Now that your holiday shopping is complete (hopefully!), it’s time to sit back, relax and spend time with family and friends. After all, the best part of the holiday season is spending time and celebrating with the ones you love.

As times change, one thing that usually remains the same is holiday traditions, but even these evolve and adapt with each new generation. Here are some of our favorite holiday traditions!

The Elf on the Shelf

For those of us on the team with little ones, the Elf on the Shelf has officially taken over the month of December. To keep the magic alive, the Elf moves to a different spot in the house each night after reporting back to Santa how the kids have behaved that day, but sometimes even the Elf gets up to some mischief and has to be put in time out by Santa!

Matching PJs

End your Christmas Eve festivities by giving everyone in the family a pair of matching Christmas themed pajamas (bonus points if you get a pair for the dog!). This way the whole family will be festively dressed and ready for opening presents Christmas morning!

Slow Cooker Breakfast

To avoid spending time in the kitchen and away from the family on Christmas morning, find a slow cooker breakfast recipe on Pinterest! Some of our favorites are Breakfast Casserole, Gingerbread Oatmeal, and Slow Cooker Cinnamon Rolls!  Most of these can be whipped up the night before and your house will smell wonderful as everyone is waking up Christmas morning.
